My Music Performance.

Today on my blog im going to be talking about my "Music" performance.

So I chose to play the piano as I have had past experiences with this instrument before. The song that I decided to play was "one thousand years" you may have hear about this song before. Its simple but yet also quite difficult to learn and play but once you get it, it is pretty catchy and easy to get the hang of it.

How did I feel about my performance?

Even though I practiced enough and had it done, heres the thing... I actually didnt even perform it. Why? I thought I had the confidence and would be able to do it but I guess that nervousness took over me. Oh well, if I practice more and perform around more and more people gradually, I reckon I could be able to perform fine around alot of people with out freaking out. My music teacher does help with my confidence alot as she understands that people get nervous about things like this.

What would I like to work on in music?

The top one would obviously be be being able to perform in front of people but another one I would like to work on would be believing that I can do it instead of not doing it because I cant perform it.

Thanks for reading this sorry about how small this post is :/.
Home Economics.

In home economics we were talking about hygiene and what we do while we are cooking.

Here are some of the ways we can be hygienic during cooking time and some of the rules that we have to follow:

The definition of hygiene means reaching the expectations of being clean... for example with cooking:

- Washing hands before starting your project.
- Having your hair tied back.
- Wearing an apron while cooking/baking.
- Wearing covered in shoes while cooking.
- Making sure no jewelry on around hands.
- Not having any nail polish on.
- Dont play around with earings, hair while in the process of cooking.
- If you are sick, dont handle food as it could risk getting other pupils sick.
- No hanging clothes, as in sleeves, jackets ect that can touch the food.

Now here are 7 food and safety tips:
1. Make sure food is in the right area.
2. Wash fruit and vegetables before use of food.
3. Be sure to check the best before date on the food packets, containers ect.
4. Do not leave food out after finishing project.
5. Dont use or eat off food thats exspired.
6. Store the raw meat.
7. Make sure that your cooking surface is clean.

After we did this we had to make a stick man with all the food and safety hygiene tips on it pointing to each part of the body where the tip is around.

Here is a picture of mine:

Thank you for reading this.
Today in health we made a house with each four dimensions are about whare tapa wha.

The four dimensions are spiritual, mental, physical and social.

In the house we made we put each dimension on each wall of the house and then on the roof we put a
conclusion of what whare tapa wha is.

We wrote each one ment and was.

Here is a picture of the house:
