garderning

Little Garden!


In Rimu Class, we have been making our own little gardens in these little pots.
I chose to plant radish because they sprout quicker and because you can just eat them raw!

Here Is How You Plant Radish:

1. Get your little dirt thing for the soil thing and put 50 mills onto it and wait for it to exspanes intill it can't anymore.
2. After it has ecspaned, grab half of the soil and put it into your little pot.
3. After you have done that, get you seeds and put them down on top of the soil.
4. Once you have done that, get the rest of the your soil and put it on top of your seeds.
5. Once you have done that, let your plant grow and grow!

I am going to care for my plant by watering it every day.

I really enjoyed planting planting my radish I hope that I can do it again but next time a diffrent plant!

Keyboard Skills Score Recently!


 In Rimu Class, we have been doing Keyboard skills again.
I think I have done well recently.
I got 100% accuracy again and that is the best score you can get on Keyboard 
skills.

I think that I done really well today.
I was the first one that finished every single one on Keyboard skills but im 
not bragging about it.
My progress doing this is getting better and better every time I do it so that is 
really good.
I really enjoy doing this and I hope we carry on doing this for a very long
time!

Food For Thought!

In Rimu Class, we have been learning about food and how good it is for you.
Today we had a session with this nutritionist named Chloe.
She has been telling us how much fat there is in cereal and how much sugar there is in it.
Chloe has also been talking to us about how much sugar and fat there are in energy drinks and milk.

Here are some things Chloe has been talking to us about:
Chloe said that kids like us should have only five or less teaspoons of sugar a day.
She also showed us some bottles with energy drinks and flavored milk drinks and showed us how much sugar there is in each and every one of them.
In one of the energy drinks, there is twenty teaspoons in it so that is four days worth of sugar we should have each day.
Chloe also said that we shouldn't drink coffee until we are twenty five because up until we are twenty five we get all of the calsium we can get and then we stop getting more and stay with the limit of calsium we get.
She showed us the food pyramid and we put all of them in order with the healthy food up to the unhealthy food and we talked about what is healthier and what isn't.
Chloe told us all the things to eat to keep us healthy and the things that make us unhealthy and sick.
We got told what makes us sick and what types of food makes us healthy.
Chloe told us what types of food that gives us fibre, sodium and more.

Chloe told a lot about food and things like that and I hope she comes back and tells us more about it and stuff. I hope you guys like this and read it.

                Awesome Day Tuesday!

In Rimu Class we have been useing screencastify. Here is my writing that I used it with. Screen castify is something you use when your writing a story you video yourself reading your story. This is the first time I have ever used it but I think I used it right. I think for my next step I could not make the camera shakey. I hope you like it bye.
