Hi guys today I done a screencastify. This one is about maths strategy that my class has been using. thanks for reading and hearing me! I will be doing more blog posts soon!!!

My Report Card For Fractions!

In Rimu Class, we have been learning about a new website to help us with our fractions. There is a whole bunch of different options that you can do to help you with your fractions. When you go onto one, it will come up on the top right corner the numerator and the denominator. It will come up with a fraction, then you have to put in the numerator and the denominator. Then you press "ok" and then it will come up if you got the question right or wrong. Once you have done as much questions as you want, you can press "report" you put your last name and your last name. After you do that, you click report and then it will give you a report card. The report card will give you how much you got right or wrong. It will also tell you how it helps you.

I did five questions and I got all of them right.

Next time I do this, I am going to do more than five questions like ten or twenty.

                   Reflecting My Year

In Rimu Class we have been reflecting on our  year.

The year has been going so fast I haven't even been realising that its the last term for this year.

Its going to be so sad when all the Year Sixes go to Intermediate. :(

I hope that this term goes really slow so the year sixes get to make the most of the rest of the year

In term one we had the swimming pool open and we went to it like every single day!

We also started doing interchange in term one which was kinda confusing at first but I'm pretty sure every one got used to it.

We learnt how to do our Mihis to go to the Marie.

In term three we did our Pasifaka performance but I didn't go but I still performed it in front of the senior hub and the junior hub with Rimu Class.

The Awesome Memories:

One of the good memories I have had is when we went to jellie park and went down the water slides with my friends and kinda familys! An other one is when the senior hub went to a Marie and meet theses very nice and wise people. We went swimming down the road and took swimming lessons. Another good memories is going to Mt Hutt and seeing Miss Waho falling over while she was trying to ski down a snow hill! Another is when Tamara had a suprise birthday party and everybody got fizzy drinks and pizza! I of my really good memories this year is becoming BFFS with Alyscia and learning french and learning new things about Paris.

       Multiplication And Division Quiz!

In Rimu Class, everyone has been doing this maths quiz tha Miss Waho sent us. It come up with like twenty questions and they are all just random multiplication and division questions. I got 95 % witch is 19/20 witch is really good because there are some division questions that are kinda hard for me so I think I done pretty good for me. One of the most hardest questions on the quiz for me a probably 

12 x 7, 27 x 9 and 72 x 6.

Sorry I didn't write as much as I normaly do I was running out of time.

For my next step, I am going to try and get all of them right by trying to work it out quicker by thinking of a quicker stratagy.

                   Prototec Stage 5

In Rimu Class, during maths, Hexagonal prisims ( My maths group) has been working on prototec on stage 5. This time we had to do it on the sheet mode and not timed mode to see how we at with each mode. This time I got all of the questions right so I got 60/60 questions right. I was really proud with myself because I am not that good with division but I am getting used to it so I guess that means I am learning my divisions.

What I'm Going To Work On Next Time:

Next time I go on prototec, I am going to try do timed mode on stage 5 and learn how to put down my divisions down quicker than I usually do.

New KeyTyping Skills!

In Rimu Class, we have just learned a new keytyping skills website!

Hi its me again its term four now and things have changed so much! I hope everyone had a good holliday!

Any way, I am going to tell you guys about Rimus new typing school website.

It is called typing club and you go through stages. 

When you go onto it it says to get started so you click that button and it tells you how to sit and to relise the little bumps on the keyboard.

After that you press lets get started again and you click stage one and you start typing.

Stage one is when you have to type the letters f and j.

After you complete stage one you scroll down and it shows how good you have done and your accuracy.

Next you scroll down more and it says next stage and then you click it and it takes you to the next stage.

I think that we should use this instead of the other keytyping skills now because its good to try something new!

It helps me because it tells me my score, how well I have done and how long it took me to do it!

I hope we stick to it.
