Today I was working on an activity on EOCT, I chose the activity based on the Ngati Moki Marae and I answerd these questions.

-Cath brown grew up in Taumutu,

- she held the role of “chair of te Taumutu Runanga and Upoko, at Ngati Moki Marae.

2) What type of art did Cath make? How do you know she was successful at it? She

-Ngati Moki Marae is located at Taumutu, on the quiet shores of Te Waihora. Down a
path there, it will lead to a beach.

4) What does mahinga kai mean? What do you think they ate?

-It means “ food source “. It could be something like

5) What is Ngāti Moki Marae built on?

It was replaced by a earlier structure that stood on the same site.

6) What is the Awhitu House?

It is used for things like family gatherings and was residents of success.

Cats vs Dogs

Cats vs Dogs…

Today I am going to be writing about persuasive writing, which is going to be about what I like
better out of cats or dogs.My personal opinion is going to be that I like dogs better and here's
why…. First of all is going to be because they are so much fun to hang out with and do things
with, like for instance, you can't really throw a stick and expect a cat to run and grab it for you,
but you can with a dog. There is so much more you can do with a dog such as, take it places,
yeah you can do that with cats but not as often.

You can train it to do things like: rollover, sit, stay, handshake, fetch, drop, ect, I mean you can't

teach a cat to do most of those things.

They are great guard dogs as well, big or small they would be amazing if you trained them right
to attack someone with a special code word, why do you think police have dogs as a
protectors? Actually back on the police, dogs also have marvelous scenes, that's why they use
them to sniff out drugs in raids.

Not to mention how damn adorable they are!
They are very Loyal pets as well, if you give it enough attention and love they will be the best

pets!

That is my opinion on dogs so i reckon that they are better pets than dogs.
This was quite are hard debate though because i'm also in love with cats, they are both very

cute and perfects pets.

Hey guys me again and today I am going to post a nature slide.

Argentine Tango/ Learning Spanish!

Hey guys today I am going to be telling you about my exsperience about me doing the Argentine Tango. 
The Argentine Tango is a dance that you do with someone/partener.
My partner was Tobey(go check out his blog).

So we started to practice with our two teachers Gloria and Graham. Gloria taught the girls most of the girl steps and Graham taught the boys most of the boy steps. 
At first we held eachothers arms when we practice then it ended up different. We learnt a step called the box, the rock, the spin and much more.

We practiced for such a while and then we started to do it on different sides of the room.

After every lesson we would all sit down in a circle and practice how to do things like count in spanish, play games and more.

This is how you count in spanish up to twenty: uno, dos, tres, cuatro, cinco, seis, siete, ocho, nueve, diez, once, doce, trece, catorce, quince, dieciseis, diecisiete, dieciocho, dicinueve, veinte.

We found out we were performing at the Theater Royal!!!!!!!.

A month or so past on and it was the night to perform"!!!

We got ready the girls wore a dress kind of thing with black socks that kind of look like shoes. We had to put our hair in a bun and with a beautiful blue flower in it. The boys wore shorts that came up to there knees with a black top and a blue tie with black ankle socks.

It was time to perform!!!...

We started the stage was massive my stomach had butterflys in it. The music suddenly started. It felt like it went for ages but it was only like three minutes.

After that we sat on the stage and our teachers came and performed for us. IT WAS AMAZING!!!. 

They were the only ones that did this for us out of all of the other group dances. 
After that me and Tobey went up to them and gave them flowers and some choclate.

It was a great exsperience and I would like to try out something like that again!

I am going to try and find some pictures and the video and I will post them when I find it.

Hey guys today I did prototec.

I got one wrong cause I got confused.

Basketball!

Hey guys! Today I am going to be telling you what we did for basket ball!

So the whole senior hub went to someone named Quin and Mark.

They came every wedensday for a few weeks and taught us tricks and games to do with basketball. 

So when we first got there they interduced themselves to the classes. Then they taught us a game called ' jump in, jump out.' The aim of the game is when they say 'jump in' you jump fowards, and when they say ' jump out,' you jump back. But if he says jump foward and he says it again and you jump back you are out. If they say jump foward and they say it again and you jump foward again it still means you are out even though you didnt do the oppisite. We did this everyday and on the first day and some other day you would win a Rams rist band. I won one on the first day along with Jorja, and the other day Ashrita (my bff) won one along with me I won one and so did Tobey and some other people.


We also did games like shooting and we got givin numbers and if you get them called out you had to run and get the ball, weeve through your teem and shoot it through the hoop. If you be the first one to get it you get two point, if you are the second one to get it, and if you are the last one to you get none. You also had to pick a country to play for. Me and my team chose France, Tobeys team and him chose America, and Emily and her team were Austrailia. France won the game, I am not quite sure who was second but I am pretty sure it was Austraila.

We also played a game but we were in two teams and we had to shoot and keep on going until one of the teams won.

We also did warm ups before we would start the games like run to the line and back and do things like skip, lounges and more!

We also did relays with the balls and had to dribble the ball up and down.

We did some more games but I cant fully remember them.

Thats all for today I had fun and I think that this was a very good oppitunerty for me to do and if I can I will do it again. The basketball coachers were really cool and fun to play with.

Prototec

Today I did prototec.

I got one wrong but I am on stage seven so I will be on stage eight once I can nail this!

I am doing times tables, division, simplifying fractions, and finding the factors of numbers!

My next step is to to be able to nail it and get them all right and also be able to do it quicker next time.

The question I got wrong I already know but I had a blank number and confused myself haha! :)
