Hi guys its me again and if you look at my recent post Rimu Class had to write a letter about an old teddy or obkect. Now we wrote back to the object or toy.

Letter Back To An Old Friend!

Dear Uni…

I am sorry about how you are feeling but I am getting older now so that's why I am not playing anymore. You are awesome and my favorite unicorn but I think I might have to give you away to someone that wants you like someone that's like five, six or seven years old. I could give you to Lali if you want but in your letter it seems that you probably would not want that. I am also very sorry about not listening to our theme song but I don't really like it anymore. And my phone said that it isn't saying ANYTHING to you about anything. And it is seriously not my fault that my annoying little sister is stealing you all of the time. One time you're next to me, then the next time you're not and I will go to my little sisters room and there she is with you in her hands dipping your horn in black paint. Also. I didn't accidentally leave you outside in the mud those days, I purposely left you out there so then maybe you would get sad and go find a different home to go live in.

Now…

Did you have to hold my new phone captive because I really need it! Your other enemy (The Phone) is getting old and its time is nearly up so I need the new phone. By the the way, the old phone has something to say to you…

Hi guys its me and in Rimu Class we have been writing about an old teddy or object that we dont use anymore.

Here is my story:

A Letter From An Old Friend

Dear owner…

I am really grateful that you are my owner but we really need to talk, like as soon as you read this, which would be right now i'm guessing...

Ever since my enemy, your phone had came you never played with me anymore! You always let your annoying little sister grab my horn and dip it and a whole bunch of stuff. One time she even dipped my horn in a pile of black paint and I had to stay in the washing machine for a whole entire week. When you go to bed your phone starts to tease me about how you always play with it. When you first got me, my fluffy fur was so soft and silky but guess how it is now, IT IS TERRIBLE!!! I can't even count how many times you have accidentally left me out outside and in the mud. This is the most saddest thing about this whole situation is that we NEVER and I mean NEVER Listen to our theme song anymore!

Now… I have some more to say… now, I am so sorry for this threat but if you don't do anything about this, your new best friend, the phone #my enemy, I am going to have a few words with it, (or fight) and I am not just going to speak with it, I am going to use my shiny hoofs with this     little talk I will have with it. And by the way you know how you were expecting your new phone, don't hold your breath for it i am holding it captive until you do something about this situation.

Dance

Dance For Rimu Class!

Rimu Class Learn the Tango

Every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, Rimu Class goes to Kea Class and learns a dance called the Argentine Tango. It is a dance when you have to dance with a partner. There is twenty steps in the dance and so far we have learnt seven steps. Our dance teachers are Gloria and Graham. They are the magnificent people that are choreographing the dance for Rimu Class. Here are the steps that we are doing in order:  The box, the rock rotation, the box ocho, clarvae, clarvae, est stop, we learnt the a steps called “the hook”  but we haven't properly put it in the dance. At the end of our lesson we will all sit in a circle and Gloria will teach us how to speak spanish. She has taught us the days of the week, numbers from one to ten. We also play a hand game with partners that are next to us! We are performing in a big theater in town somewhere. One thousand people or more could be watching Rimu Class perform. We are learning this dance until the end of term two!

Mathletics

Mathletics Catch Up!

Hi guys its me again and today I am going to be telling you about what I have been doing in math!

I have been doing addition and subtraction.

Here Is A Screen Shot Of My Work:

The Way I figure this out is by adding the hundreds, then adding the tens, then adding the ones. After this, I will put them all togther. 

I got one wrong today because I got the stratergy that I was useing wrong.

My next step is to get them all right and do it quicker so that the next time someone asks me a question like this I will be able to answer it quicker.

7 And 8 Times Tables!

Hi guys its me again and we have been working on a new maths site named Math Is Fun.
Its a site when you can learn times tables and all other types of maths.
In our maths class, we are learning times tables.
We have choose two sets of times tables that we are working on and two sets of times tables that we are confident with.
What I am Working on:
I am working on my eights and my seven times tables.
I am working on these times tables because I want to be able to awnser them quicker that I usally do.
What I am Confident With:
I am confident with my nine and eleven times tables.
I practice my nine times tables the most out of all of the times tables so that is why I am way more confident with nine the most.
I am also confident with eleven times tables because of the pattern it goes in.

Mathletics Post 2017! (Reflection)

Hi everyone its me again sorry I havent post anything in a while but today I am!!!

We have been learning some new things on mathletics.

Today I am going to show you what I have been doing and what type of stratergy I am doing!

Here Are Some Screen Shots:

I am learning a stratergy called algorithms.

As you can see by the pictures the way it is set up is the way that I am learning.

Sometimes I do it in a different way like I would just take away six from ninty five because when it comes to questions like this its pretty easy for me to click and just awnser it instead of having to use a stratergy to try and figure it out.

With algorithms I use place value with it.

Anyway, that is what I have been doing this term so yeah.

I think I have to go onto a higher stage because most of my questions im getting are really easy.

My next step will be to use this stratergy more offten so I can get used to it!
